I was walking down life’s highway a long time ago. One day, I saw a sign that read, “HEAVEN’S GROCERY STORE”. As I got a little closer, the door came open wide. And when I came to myself, I was standing right inside. I saw a host of angels, they were standing everywhere. One handed me a basket and said, “My child, shop with care”. Everything a Christian needed was in the grocery store. And all you couldn’t carry, you could come back the next day. First I got some PATIENCE, LOVE was in the same row. Farther down was UNDERSTANDING, you need that everywhere you go. I got a box or two of WISDOM, a bag or two of FAITH, I couldn’t miss the HOLY GOST for it was all over the place. I stopped to get some STRENGTH and COURAGE to help me run the race. But then my basket was getting full, but I remembered I needed some GRACE. I didn’t forget SALVATION, for salvation that was free. So, I tried to get enough of that to save both you and me. Then, I started up the counter to pay the grocery bill, for I thought I had everything to do my Master’s will. As I went up the aisle, I saw PRAYER and I just had to put that in, for I knew when I stepped outside, I would run into SIN. PEACE and JOY were plentiful; they were on the last shelf. SONG and PRAISES were hanging near so I just helped myself. Then, I said to the Angel, “Now, how much do I owe?”. He just smiled and said, “Just take them everywhere you go”. Again, I smiled and said, “How much do I really owe?” The Angel smiled again and said,
“MY CHILD, JESUS PAID YOUR BILL A LONG TIME AGO.” |

Hi! this is Chona Basal. Thank you for sharing me your time. To share you a part of my thoughts is my pleasure. Like any one else, I'm being conscious about health because it is wealth. I love sports because it adds life. I feel free walking along the seaside, in the park, have picnic, swimming in a clean white sand beach. Dubai has these places maintained, for you and me. Living in Dubai is something that I would treasure. Having a job here keeps me stay. Lifestyle is ok, there are places to hang out. Like my place at home.... where I used to be after work.... cook and eat, watch the news and current affairs, get rid of my mess, and have a sound sleep. Another place, the Philippine Labor office where I join some computer training courses to add my skill and the likes... to go beyond, not to stop learning! And the real hang out, to get fit, the dance club, where I learned ballroom dancing, though I'm not a dancer, somehow it keeps me physically fit. And coming up my sports in tennis, I love to play but can't afford the fees yet, so watch out!!! Hello!! to my brothers and sisters back home, and my parents who are still so close to each other. My one of a kind compassionate mother. My father who used to tell us his favorite quote "united we stand divided we fall" . And Hello!! to my friends |
